Apache Lake Camping

Over the weekend we went with our friends the Smiths camping at Apache Lake. It was a long drive but very pretty as the sun was setting. The last time we went camping Emerson wasn't really walking yet. We were thinking this was going to be great because he can walk now. Here's a quick timeline we've been at our campsite for

5 min: trip and fall= rocks in knee
10 min later: run into side of metal picnic table= head wound and lots of blood
1.5 hrs later: burn hand on lantern

Basically the only thing left was the cactus which thankfully we didn't have to deal with and Jake took care of that one for us anyways when he sat on a cactus on the trek last weekend too.

Canoeing??? I want to do that! How fun. Too bad your life vests were here at my house...maybe Emerson could have gone too.

I'm glad you all survived!

This is exactly why we don't take Boyce camping. Imagine the usual toddler stuff with vision impairment. Yikes! And hey look, you're pregnant!
