and finally the grass is green!

For the last 8 months we have been looking at this dirt. We finally decided that we've had enough. At 2:30pm Saturday afternoon we found a Homedepot with some grass, recruited my parents and laid down some grass. YAY! Now that our time living here is possible 1/2 over the yard has grass and rock and that's about it.

We taught Emerson to crawl last week. Seriously we did. A friend from our ward told me about these drills you can do with your kids to help them learn to crawl. We did one and put him on the ground and he hasn't stopped crawling since. It was like he needed a little push start. It's pretty funny to watch because he does the army crawl and kicks his feet like he is swimming but mstly uses his arms.
