On Sunday we blessed Ella. We were fortunate to have a lot of our family over for the occasion. Her dress was my blessing dress. She barely fit in it! She looked beautiful!
A family picture! (we didn't get to have the traditional 1st one in the hospital because kids weren't allowed in. The day she was born was the first day of that rule :-(.
The name Mae is from my grandfathers side of the family. My grandpa doesn't like "brain squeezers" that's why he is holding it in this picture.
Kamakaokalani is one of Matt's grandmothers middle names (she has several). This name was given to Ella by her. It means Eyes of Heaven. It's a good thing she came out with darker coloring to pass along a little of the Hawaiin heritage. Hopefully she stays this way.
