other than crying

Emerson has figured out how to use his voice. Last week he just started cooing, and such so we got the camera out. Now, if he is awake and happy, we can get him to "talk" to us and smile and every once in a while a little laugh. This is so much fun! He recognizes Matt and my voice now. He also loves being at church. The last 2 Sundays he stays awake the whole time and just looks around with big wide eyes. He likes the singing and new voices. Staying awake for 3 hours is very long for him... and on the other hand sleeping for 3 hours at a time is also long! We have also figured out that he is much happier on his stomach than laying on his back. He will sleep longer on his stomach and more peaceful. We just have to keep a better eye on him now. Too bad we can't let him sleep this way during the night... we ( I mean I) would be much more rested!
