Thank you

Matt and I have been lucky to not have to buy a lot of things. It's hard when your starting out because you feel like you need everything. My parents have been nice enough to give us both our cars. We have to do some work on them but, after much deliberation, we decided it's still cheaper to do the work than try to get a new one. So last night was the commencement of all the work that needs to be done. It was pretty late and we decided to go out to dinner, to Olive Garden. It was obvious that the waiter was having a bad day and we were trying to help her. At the end of our meal she asked us if we knew the couple that was sitting next to us. We told her that we didn't and she said, "well they just paid for your dinner". We were shocked! Not only did they brighten up our day but the waiter's day changed. She told us that made her day too. She proceeded to tell us that she works for Intel and is working at olive garden until her son gets married and then she is going to them all the money that she earns as a wedding gift. They don't know that she is working this extra job, so it will be a big surprise to them. Last night we learned about sacrifice, service, charity, not judging others and we have a greater desire to be like them. I am grateful for all the blessings that we have in our life and am more moved to share them with others. Thanks for your examples!

What a great story and how neat! Just what I needed this morning (Kyle has learned to scream instead of cry... it's wearing me out). We too have felt blessed by so many giving people. I know what you mean by feeling like you need everything!!

Lately we have been the recipients of others kindness as well. When people listen to the promptings of the spirit they have no idea what little miracles they create in our lives. Great story!! Thank you for sharing!
